Splatoon Raiders is out now on Nintendo Switch 2, and it didn't take long to find an audience. The co-op-focused spin-off pulls the series away from its usual competitive multiplayer roots and builds a full campaign around squad-based missions, and it's landed well enough with players to take the #1 spot on the Switch 2 eShop charts in its debut week.

Early reception has been strong across the board, with reviewers responding especially well to how the game reworks Splatoon's ink-based movement and weapon systems for cooperative play rather than head-to-head matches. For a series that's built its identity almost entirely around PvP, that's a meaningful swing — and based on the chart numbers, it's one that's paying off.
